PoE cabling and remote viewing

A single cable run carries power and video from the NVR to each camera, with a maximum run length of approximately 100m. No coaxial cable is required. Use a RING-J2 Junction Box at each camera end for a weatherproof cable entry.

Dahua cameras and Eagle NVRs are compatible with the DMSS mobile app (iOS and Android) for remote live viewing and recording playback. No subscription is required for basic remote access. H.265+ compression on all three camera models reduces storage usage by approximately 50 to 70% versus H.264 at equivalent resolution, extending the effective capacity of the 2TB hard drive significantly.
