The TiOC Pro is Dahua's top-specification active deterrence IP camera. TiOC stands for Three-in-One Camera: full-colour imaging, active deterrence and a siren in a single unit. When a human or vehicle is detected in a configured zone, the TiOC Pro simultaneously activates red and blue strobe lights, a siren, and a customisable voice prompt - creating the most impactful deterrence response in the Harbro Dahua camera range. It also features a 110-degree wide-angle lens, dual microphones, a built-in speaker for two-way audio, and SMD 4.0 AI with scene self-adaptation.

When SMD 4.0 AI detects a human or vehicle entering a configured perimeter zone, three deterrence responses activate simultaneously without any manual intervention: red and blue strobe lights at the camera housing, an audible siren, and a customisable voice prompt from the built-in speaker. The strobe is visible at a significant distance, the siren is audible over ambient noise, and the voice prompt can be a site-specific warning message. The combination creates a response that is considerably harder to ignore than a passive recording camera or a simple white light flash.

SMD 4.0 is Dahua's latest AI detection engine. Like SMD Plus (used in the TiOC-Lite), it classifies motion events as human, vehicle or irrelevant. SMD 4.0 adds AI Scene Self-Adaptation (SSA), which continuously adjusts detection parameters based on the environmental conditions: lighting levels, background activity, weather conditions and seasonal changes. This reduces false alarms in complex scenes - for example, a car park where passing vehicles are not a threat, or a garden border where foliage movement in wind is a frequent false trigger. SMD 4.0 learns and adapts to the specific scene rather than using fixed detection thresholds.

Yes. The TiOC Pro supports customisable voice prompts. A custom audio file can be uploaded via the NVR or Dahua management software and broadcast through the speaker when deterrence is triggered. This allows site-specific warnings, for example a message that the area is monitored by CCTV and trespassers will be prosecuted, to be recorded and played automatically. The camera also includes a default deterrence sound that activates without any configuration if a custom prompt is not uploaded.

WizColour is Dahua's branding for their full-colour 24/7 imaging system. The TiOC Pro achieves full-colour imaging in lower ambient light conditions than the other cameras in the Harbro Dahua range, thanks to its 1/1.8-inch CMOS sensor. A larger sensor captures more light per pixel, which gives the camera better low-light colour performance. Smart Dual Light with AI-switching further optimises this by activating the warm white illuminator at the right moment for maximum colour fidelity in the footage. In practice, the TiOC Pro maintains colour images longer after sunset and earlier before sunrise than the entry or TiOC-Lite cameras.

Yes. The TiOC Pro includes a Micro SD card slot that supports up to 512GB. This provides onboard edge storage: footage records directly to the SD card as well as the NVR, giving a redundant recording source. If the NVR loses power or network connectivity, the camera continues to record locally. This is particularly useful for cameras at outbuildings or remote access points where connectivity to the main NVR may be less reliable.

Choose the TiOC Pro when: (1) maximum deterrence impact is needed and a warm light flash is not sufficient for the application, (2) the installation position benefits from a 110-degree wide-angle field of view such as a corner or wide entrance, (3) customisable voice prompts are required for a commercial or retail site, (4) the 1/1.8-inch sensor's WizColour low-light performance is important for the specific lighting environment, or (5) onboard 512GB SD storage for redundant recording is required. For positions where deterrence is secondary to resolution, the TiOC-Lite's 8MP sensor is the higher-resolution option.
