Product description:

The Pyronix BatteryCam2 is a genuinely wire-free security camera, no mains wiring and no separate power cable, just the camera and a Wi-Fi connection. A 3MP colour camera, IP65 rated for full outdoor exposure, with a built-in siren and a front white light that activate together on detection.

Used for front doors and driveways, garden and boundary monitoring, garages and outbuildings, rental properties between tenancies, and small offices or retail units where running mains power isn't practical.

How It Connects

Controlled through the HomeControl2.0 app: live view from a smartphone, instant motion alerts, event playback, and multiple cameras managed from one account if more than one's installed. It works as a standalone camera and doesn't require a Pyronix alarm system to operate, though it integrates further if a compatible Pyronix system is already in place.

BatteryCam2 or BatteryCam2 Kit?

The same physical camera either way. The BatteryCam2 Kit bundles this exact camera with a 32GB microSD card and a SolarPanel2, so it runs on continuous solar power rather than needing to come down periodically for charging. Choose the Kit over the standalone camera if the install position gets reasonable daylight, otherwise this version does the same job at a lower price with the battery charged manually instead.
